About Ajrakh
Ajrakh is printed in up to sixteen stages of resist, mordant and dye – indigo, madder red, black – with geometric and floral blocks that read the same on both faces of the cloth. It is one of the oldest block-print traditions in India, made by the Khatri community of Kutch and Sindh. Cold wash separately the first time; the colours deepen and soften with wear.

Yes – hand block printed Ajrakh on cotton; the print appears on both sides of the fabric, which screen prints cannot do.
Does Ajrakh fade?
It mellows slightly over the first few washes and then holds; wash cold, inside out, in shade.
