Wearing a halter neck
A halter ties or fastens behind the neck and leaves the shoulders and back open – the coolest cut for Indian summers and the one that shows a choker best. Halter kurtas go with culottes, palazzos or dhoti pants; halter dresses with Kolhapuris or tie-up flats. Add a Kota cape or block-print kimono for cover. Size by bust; the neck tie adjusts. Between sizes, go up – cotton and khadi have no stretch (size chart).
