About the cut and the print
The angrakha is a Rajput-era garment: a wrap front tied at the side that fits at the bodice and flares below. The Kalamkari is block-printed in Machilipatnam with natural dyes on myrobalan-treated cotton – the beige is the treated cloth itself. The crafts guide has the detail.
