About the print
Each of the three prints is a separate Kalamkari block from Machilipatnam, printed with natural dyes on myrobalan-treated cotton; the cream in the pattern is the cotton's own colour. Prints soften after the first wash. The crafts guide covers the dye process.

Cold hand wash separately for the first two washes; no bleach; dry in shade; iron on reverse.

Is this Kalamkari anarkali lined?
No – unlined, opaque cotton; no slip needed.
What bottom goes with it?
Churidar or straight pants – the flare is in the kurta, so a narrow bottom keeps the line clean.
Can I wear it to a wedding?
Yes – with the Kota dupatta and oxidised jewellery it works for a daytime wedding or sangeet.
