Peepal green cotton slub culottes: a light olive-green, high-waisted, wide-leg culotte, 37 inches to the ankle, with a flat pleated front, elasticated back and a line of red zigzag embroidery at the hem. Culottes sit between a palazzo and a pant – wide enough to move like a skirt, short enough to show your footwear – and this green is a neutral with white, rust, mehendi and black tops.
