About the print
Baagh is a hand-block tradition from Bagh in Madhya Pradesh: the cloth is printed with vegetable dyes – maroon from alum and black from iron – and washed in the Baghini river, which is credited with the clarity of the reds. Expect small registration differences between blocks; they are the signature of the print.
