What is Gamthi?
Gamthi (from gaam, village) is the rustic Gujarati folk style – bold borders, mirror-and-thread motifs, the look of a Kutch chaniya choli. Here it is worked as metallic border bands on a pleated skirt so it reads festive without the weight of a traditional lehenga.
